Our system will attempt to consolidate and “clean up” the duplicate records that were created, however, it is possible for duplicate records to enter the system and create unnecessary problems. If you are aware of a case of duplicate signups, please send us an email as soon as possible so we can clean up the data and ensure accurate reporting, as well as prevent unnecessary shipments and use of materials.
No. You do not need to cancel your account if you are done collecting sneakers. If you have unused bags from your sneaker recycling campaign, we recommend holding onto them until you are ready to use them again in the future. The shipping label on the bag typically remains active for 18-24 months. If you have unused bags but do not intend on using the bags at any point in the future, then we recommend writing the word “VOID” on the shipping label, removing the label from the bag(s) and discarding the label, then recycling the poly mailer(s) with a local recycling organization. You can also send us an email with the tracking numbers of the unused shipping labels and our support team will go ahead and void the labels.
